Hallelujah! Holy sh*t. Where's the Tylenol?

In the wise words of modern day philosopher Clark Griswold--Hallelujah! Holy sh*t. Where's the Tylenol?   What a month this has been.  Inadvisable at best.

See that photo pre-Corona? Like a few weeks ago with one of our favorite peeps?  Yeah, we were way too close back then.  Now it's 6 feet away, please don't touch me, or breathe in my general direction.

Hallelujah part:  Rob and I had a lovely time in Colorado Springs at the IJO conference, a lifetime of 4 weeks ago before Corona discovered America on its maiden voyage.  I was giving the side-eye to the mask wearers on our flights, but a lifetime of weeks later, things are different.  More of the hallelujah--we met some wonderful people who are also jewelers and jewelry store owners in Colorado and joined IJO which will give us access to amazing vendors and savings we can pass on to you!

Holy sh*t part:  That COVID stuff is no joke.  We saw it coming, but had no idea what it would look like when it arrived on our doorstep.  At the advice of everyone from the CDC to the governor, we closed (or, I believed the preferred industry standard is "paused") our showroom for the moment so we could spare you our germs, and us yours. No one wants to be that one store who sacrifices public good for a dollar.  Good times.  We really miss you, talking to our peeps who come to see us is definitely the best part of our day.

Where's the Tylenol part:  This is the part where we are retooling and redirecting and getting crazy creative.  I have just enough of that Irish ornery stubborn streak to believe that we can power through just about anything, and I believe every problem has a big ol' opportunity hiding within it--you just have to ferret it out--kind of like an opportunity bloodhound.    So we've got this.  Our opportunity here is we built our online audience first, and they haven't let us down!  Even our local friends have become our online friends during and some before this.  You can see all of our cool items on Instagram, Facebook, and here.  Since we have our manager working from home, we have our website mostly all up to date (thanks Denise!).

Our jewelers are working in shifts to keep us apart (miss you guys), but this allows us to keep up with our custom orders, online orders, and all of your repairs!  Mountain Song will come out even stronger after all this passes, and we're looking forward to taking the journey with you!  So here are some special things we have available to help you, and you can help us by treating yourself:

-$20 rhodium plating for your white gold.  We'll also check your prongs, clean your ring, and do it all while you wait and entertain you with coffee and sweets while you wait.  You can use it for up to 2 years from now (after we reopen after the Corona episode).

-$40 appraisals (just $25 per for any after the first one).  Got some outdated appraisals you need to update for insurance? We can do that while you are home and we are home. You just need to send us a copy of a pre-existing appraisal and we'll update and send you a new one with present-day values.

-Huge sales on our IG and FB for fast moving pieces.  Lots of $199 sales, big diamonds sales, and you know we don't sell I quality diamonds, only SI and better, so check out our insanely good diamond prices!

-20% off anything on our website just for staying at home!  Use code stayhome20.

-We are offering video chat appointments for custom designs.  We have a few slots left.  Just call or text us at 423.972.1301 or email us at info@mountainsongjewelers to set one up.  You can also message us on IG, FB, or the website.

-We are still buying gold at the highest prices around.  Just call us to set up an appointment.

-We are still hunting down and designing the perfect custom or antique pieces for clients.  Just contact us!

Stay home.  Stay healthy.  We love you and miss you.  But when this has passed, we'll have an awesome party to celebrate!
